Earth And Skies Were Ripped Apart ?

EARTH AND SKIES WERE RIPPED APART

The following is the verse quoted by wikiislam,s author ;

" Do not the disbelievers see that Earth and Heavens were joined together as a singularity, we separated them apart" Chapter no. 21 verse no.30

The above translation done by me is taken from Brill page 327, Mufridat e Raghib, Lughat ul Quran , Tafseer e Namoona etc.

Here are various English Translations;

Sahih International: Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them

Pickthall: Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them

Mohsin Khan: Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them?

Arberry: Have not the unbelievers then beheld that the heavens and the earth were a mass all sewn up, and then We unstitched them.

This translation can also be found in several Muslim interpretations.We see in Tafseer Durr e Mansoor Vol 4 page 833 

"Imam Ibn e Jareer quoted from Hazrat Ibn e Abbas(RA) under WERE JOINED TOGETHER that Earth and skies were joined together."

On this page it is written

"Imam ibn al Munzar and Imam Hatim quoted from Qatada that Earth and heavens were joined together and Allah separated them with air"

The following verse of Holy Quran says that the universe was a singularity before Allah separated it in Earth and seven Heavens. According to big bang theory the universe was a singularity at the time of its creation in the form of a small large Energy ball which started expanding 13.8 billion years and which resulted in its separation into Skies including stars and earths. Allah is not describing how this separation was done rather it is described in another verse of Holy Quran Chapter 51 verse 47;

"Indeed we had created the heaven with our hands and we are still Expanding it."

The problem with wikiislam author and other so called debunkers is that Earth was not present at that time. let me answer by asking a question that Was Earth not a part of that singularity? They will say that It was, but not in its present situation rather it was created 4.9 years ago and so on....... but Quran use the word EARTH  and also the next verse says We created mountains on it.Let me ask if next verse says that we created mountains on it, then it means the previous state of Earth was not like as it today because mountains are like strong nails on it according to Quran. How can you justify that in this verse the word ARZ refers to today Earth rather in other verses Allah Says WE CREATED EARTH IN TWO ERAS which is passed in a previous article?If this verse says that universe was a singularity than it is surely compatible with big bang theory. If Holy Quran says we are still expanding it then it is surely compatible with Big Bang.
